Generations Dance Concert: Perspectives From a Student

Generations is a unique, entertaining, and charitable Dance Concert held each year on a Sunday in November, at Montgomery County Community College. The concert showcases a variety of dance groups, artists, and companies that perform for a specific cause each year. This upcoming Generations on November 19th is using 100% of the ticket sales raised directly towards the Kisses for Kyle Foundation. The Kisses For Kyle Foundation deals with children battling Leukemia, and I am so honored to be a part of such an inspiring foundation. The ability to help others battle this horrific disease through doing what I love is what motivates me as a dancer.
Generations held once a year allows Dance companies and performers to come together and perform for close family, friends, relatives, etc. This dance concert gives me the opportunity to express myself through the art and beauty of Dance. From my perspective as a dancer being involved in Generations for the last several years, it is so amazing to see that just a three minute Dance piece can have such an impact on a foundation so important as Kisses For Kyle. Every ticket bought for the concert is another step closer to supporting a family in need. Seeing everyone each year come together to do what they love and share it with each other is truly something special and something that I will always be proud of.
